How Gehrke Econ creates more satisfaction in everyday working life with the help of Foodji
Holistic consulting for SMEs - modern, sustainable, networked
Gehrke Econ is an interdisciplinary consulting group with 250 employees and is based in Isernhagen near Hanover. It combines tax consulting, auditing, legal and management consulting under one roof - structured in the specially developed Winsulting concept, which networks expert knowledge from all disciplines in a targeted manner. The focus is on advising medium-sized companies, particularly in the areas of restructuring, corporate planning, reorganization and mergers & acquisitions.
As a multi-award-winning digital law firm, Gehrke Econ pursues a clear sustainability strategy - for example through low-paper processes, its own bee projects, reforestation campaigns and the promotion of e-mobility. As an employer, the company also relies on modern structures: flexible working models, dual study programs, further training opportunities and a team-oriented corporate culture ensure a high level of employee satisfaction.
"Our aim was to offer all employees in the office uncomplicated yet high-quality catering - and Foodji does just that: it's easy to use, the dishes are fresh and you can always find something delicious! This fits in very well with our aspirations as a modern employer."

Flexible and always available catering - regardless of working rhythm
In the past, Gehrke Econ employees were provided with frozen lunches, which did not allow for spontaneous lunches due to long preparation times and were not perceived as fresh and tasty. In the long term, there was also a lack of variety and flexibility - especially with different working rhythms. At a trade fair, Gehrke discovered Econ Foodji - a flexible solution with fresh food around the clock. Exactly what had been missing until then.
Gehrke Econ's goals:
- Provide employees with fresh and uncomplicated meals including snacks every day to maximize break and recovery times
- Creating tangible added value every day through subsidies
- Increased employee satisfaction through flexible, readily available catering without effort
The lack of internal catering had the following disadvantages: A lack of food options in the business park led to a high expenditure of time and additional stress in the daily procurement of food.

Reliable supply in the company - for joint breaks
The introduction of Foodji has sustainably improved everyday working life and the break culture:
- Around 100 employees regularly help themselves to the Foodji - relaxed working without worrying about getting food
- At Gehrke Econ, employees often save more than 50 % of their break time with Foodji, as there are hardly any opportunities to buy food in the immediate vicinity
- Gehrke Econ subsidizes its employees and thus creates tangible added value every day
With Foodji, Gehrke Econ has found a catering solution that suits the modern working day: individual, flexible and available at any time.
